With the holiday season upon us, it is once again that time of year when you start to think about what kinds of gifts you are going to be getting your loved ones, or maybe yourself. For the last few weeks now, companies have been informing the consumer of the next hot buy, and of course reminding them of that infamous Black Friday!! The one day that you can get that one-of-a-kind TV, Lazy-boy, gaming device, furniture set, trending new toy, or even car at the best price ever! But really none of those things are one-of-a-kind. You may have gotten up at 3am and raced to the store and been the first one to grab it off the shelf, but at the end of the day there are a hundred million of them made and you are just an owner of something that everyone else has. And yes they may be nice, or fun for a while, but in no time at all they will lose their luster. So before you go out and spend your hard-earned money on something predictable, may I suggest something truly one-of-a-kind... art.

In Light 12x12

Good art is something that is crafted from passion, hard work, endless hours of education, planning, and intuition. Professional artists spend their lives perfecting their craft, and each piece in a way is a representation of that dedication. Each piece of work is its own entity, and has it own unique story for its existence. No two pieces of art will ever be completely alike. You are truly getting a one-of-a-kind. I can assure you that you will not walk into someone else's home and find the same piece of art.

Quiet 12x12

But not only is art appealing because it is unique as a one-of-a-kind item, but also because it has a story connected to the buyer or owner. Ask any owner of art, and he or she can give you a good reason for why they bought that art, and perhaps even a story about it. So this year I invite you to consider getting a story, getting something that moves you and represents you in some way. Take a look at some original art.
